Wolf Pack « Thread Started on Sept 18, 2008, 7:49pm »
As you can easily tell, we are getting quite a few wolves on here! Bravo! But that brings up an issue: We need an alpha. Whoever wants to be the alpha, I want you to post this in a reply to this thread:
Name: Your character's name [this can be a character you've already created or one you are going to create] Age: How old your character is Roleplay Example: I would like 20 sentences at least. This is how we'll decide who the alpha will be if more than one person posts. If no one posts, I have a character that I made as a back up.

Name: David Elsu Age: 22 Roleplay Example: It was raining. A common occurrence in Washington but the dark beast that stood outlined in the rain was an image not seen before. The dampness flattened the black fur around the wolf's hard shoulders and muscular body as he sniffed intently at the air. David tried to find a trace of that horrid smell he had first caught in North Dakota but the rain had washed all trace of it away. He was aware vaguely that he was near the border of La Push, the place his mother had left over twenty two years ago after the death of his father. His mother, big and pregnant, had moved back to her family's home on a reservation in North Dakota but she then died when David was still young. There was still a faint trace of the scent on the wind and with a burst of strength and speed the black brute thundered in pursuit in-between the trees. It had not even been a month since David had been a skinny 5'10 boy with no significant features but now he had grown to a towering 6'4 with broad shoulders and a muscular body fitting someone at least seven years older then him. The smell turned out to be old and stale ending somewhere along the ocean coast. Frustration and the shear unwillingness to admit defeat drove him on though as he thundered along the lapping waves trying to pick out the smell from the sand. In the darkness David could make out the lights of the houses nearby and a loud whine came from within him as he sighed in defeat. The thing had gotten away, that horrible smell of death and blood. It had been that very smell that had awakened this thing within him whatever it was. David padded slowly towards the houses wondering to himself, I wonder how my extended family would feel taking me in... exhausted began to cover him like a blanket and the chill from the rain soaked through to his hot skin causing a shiver to ripple through his body. As he neared the homes a familiar scent passed by his muzzle, a smell not unlike his own. ...there...there are more like me. There are wolves like me here. a sudden feeling overtook David, the same feeling an orphan child gets when they discover their parents and the thoughts within his mind grew loud and summoning as they morphed into the commanding words of the Alpha. A birthright as old as the tribe itself passed down to David by his father before him. Show yourselves. he thought silently into the rain a low growl of authority rumbling in his chest.
